Design, drafting, project management, installation, commissioning, maintenance and electrical all sit under one roof. On a project that means one company answers for the whole package from the first drawing through to handover, and on a maintenance contract it means one provider holds the whole building.

How We Work

From design through to the maintenance record

1. Design & drafting

Our engineers and drafters develop the design against the National Construction Code and the relevant Australian Standards, and coordinate with your fire engineer, consultant and certifier.

2. Installation

QBCC licensed installers deliver the works, staged around an occupied building where needed, including out of hours and night works.

3. Commissioning

Systems are proven zone by zone against the design intent, cause and effect re-proven, and baseline data captured for the life of the asset.

4. Handover

Certification documentation coordinated with the certifier, drawings and manuals handed over, and the maintenance schedule established from day one.

5. Maintenance

AS 1851-2012 routines, monthly through five-yearly, delivered on schedule with digital reporting and defects classified critical or non-critical.

6. Proving it

Records kept to the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, occupier statement provisions built in, and free client portal access to the lot.

Standards

What we work to

Routine service is AS 1851-2012. Design and installation sit under the National Construction Code and the system standards below. Emergency and exit lighting is deliberately listed separately, because it is not an AS 1851 system.

A note on certification. Safe QLD is not an RPEQ certifier and does not claim to be. We design, install, commission and maintain, and we coordinate with your fire engineer, consultant and building certifier so the aspect certification lands cleanly at the end of a project.

Onboarding us as a contractor

We are CM3 prequalified and set up for head contractor onboarding, tender submissions and portfolio agreements. If your procurement team needs licence copies, insurance certificates, WHS documentation, SWMS or a completed vendor pack, ask and we will send it back promptly rather than a fortnight later.
